Therapeutic Breathwork

Facilitator Training

Therapeutic Breathwork offers a powerful and refined approach to supporting clients in releasing tension, processing held emotional patterns, and integrating unresolved experiences stored within the body. It provides practitioners with an effective, body-based modality to facilitate meaningful and lasting change.

At Evolve, our training integrates conscious connected breathwork with inquiry, somatic awareness, meditation, and authentic communication. This multidimensional approach equips you with the tools to work skillfully across both physiological and emotional landscapes.

Rooted in a trauma-informed framework, the training is designed to develop not only your technical ability, but your presence, discernment, and capacity as a practitioner.

This 12-month, non-residential, trauma-informed breathwork facilitator training is a comprehensive and immersive program designed for those seeking professional breathwork training in the UK and Europe. The training develops both your practical skillset and your capacity to work with clients in a grounded, safe, and effective way.

You will be trained in conscious connected breathwork, alongside somatic practices, embodiment and movement work, meditation, inquiry, and authentic communication. This integrated approach equips you to work across both the body and mind, supporting clients in processing emotional patterns, trauma, and accumulated physical and mental tension.

Rooted in trauma-informed practice, this breathwork training emphasises nervous system regulation, safety, and practitioner presence - essential skills for those offering breathwork sessions, somatic coaching, or therapeutic support.

The training is intentionally limited to a small group (maximum of 10 participants UK/16 Participants Belgium), creating a highly supportive and personalised learning environment. This allows for both deep personal development and the development of the confidence and competence required to facilitate breathwork sessions for individuals and groups, both in-person and online.

This breathwork certification training is ideal for therapists, coaches, and space holders looking to expand their work, as well as those seeking a clear pathway into becoming a breathwork facilitator in the UK or Europe.

You are also welcome to join this training as a personal development journey. Many participants choose this path to deepen their own self-awareness, emotional resilience, and connection to the body.

These programs have been thoughtfully structured to integrate with full and busy lives, making it accessible for those balancing professional and family commitments, For Uk Participants, we recommend the London training option.

For European participants, we recommend the Belgium training option.

The in-person elements of these trainings are non-residential. if you are travelling outside of the venue area, you will need to find accommodation nearby.

Prerequisite for Breathwork Training

As part of the application process for our breathwork training in London, all prospective participants are required to have completed a minimum of 3 in-person conscious connected breathwork sessions. These sessions may be experienced within a group setting or through one-to-one work with a qualified practitioner.

This prerequisite is essential in ensuring that all participants arrive with a foundational understanding of conscious connected breathwork before beginning this breathwork facilitator training. It supports a higher level of safety, depth, and readiness for the work which we will undertake together.

Applicants must be aged 25 and above.

This trauma-informed breathwork training goes beyond introductory practices. It is a deep and immersive process that invites both personal exploration and the development of your capacity to support others. Participants are trained to work with the nervous system, emotional integration, and the subtle dynamics that arise within both individual sessions and group spaces.

It is important to note that this training is distinct from pranayama or functional breathwork. The focus is on therapeutic breathwork, working with somatic awareness, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation.

Throughout the program, participants are encouraged to actively engage with the group process, cultivating a supportive, respectful, and collaborative learning environment. This is a key aspect of both the personal and professional development offered within the training.

By maintaining these prerequisites, we ensure a high-quality, grounded, and enriching experience for all involved—rooted in shared commitment, integrity, and depth of practice within the field of breathwork training in the UK and Europe.

This 12-month breathwork certification training includes 17 days of in-person training at our London venue in Fulham, alongside online sessions, webinars, and ongoing mentoring. There is a strong emphasis on in-person learning, allowing participants to develop an embodied understanding of how to work safely and effectively with a client’s nervous system.

Breathwork Practitioner Mentoring/Supervision-Online

Ongoing mentoring and clinical supervision are a core component of this breathwork facilitator training, designed to help you develop into a confident, competent, and ethically grounded practitioner. This structured support underpins your learning journey, ensuring that theory is effectively translated into safe and embodied practice.

As you advance in therapeutic and trauma-informed breathwork, regular supervision offers a dedicated professional space to reflect on client sessions, evaluate your facilitation techniques, and deepen your understanding of the work. This reflective process is especially valuable for practitioners working in breathwork facilitation, somatic coaching, and broader therapeutic or wellbeing environments, where sensitivity, attunement, and responsibility are essential.

Mentoring sessions complement supervision by focusing on both professional progression and personal integration. Within these sessions, you are guided through your real-life client scenarios, supported in refining your facilitation style, and encouraged to build greater clarity, confidence, and discernment in your role. This dual focus ensures that your growth is not only technical, but also relational and experiential, strengthening your ability to hold space effectively.

Supervision also plays a critical role in maintaining alignment with trauma-informed principles, ethical frameworks, and best practices within the breathwork field across the UK and Europe. As you begin working more independently—whether offering one-to-one sessions or group facilitation, in-person or online—this ongoing support helps ensure that your work remains safe, responsible, and professionally sound.

Ultimately, this aspect of the training serves as the bridge between learning and real-world application. It supports you in integrating knowledge into practice, embodying the principles of safe facilitation, and developing the presence required to guide others with confidence and care.

Through consistent mentoring and supervision, you will continue to refine your skills, expand your understanding of somatic and breath-based approaches, and establish a sustainable, professional breathwork practice grounded in integrity and experience.
