A 1 day retreat focused on restoring connection to self and exploring all that prevents us from being in our fullness and vitality, tuning into the wisdom of your body for guidance.
We will explore the body, mind and inner world through a deeply compassionate and trauma informed lens, using conscious connected breathwork, partner exercises, enquiry, journalling and embodiment practices.

Connection to self is everything. The way we relate to ourselves shapes our entire reality, the relationships we have, and our perspective on life.
Connection to self means slowing down and getting curious.
It means being prepared to feel all that we haven’t allowed ourselves to feel.
It means that we acknowledge all the things that prevent us from connecting to self….. the distractions we use, the coping mechanisms we employ, the way we talk to ourself and treat ourself.
Connection to self means listening deeply to the body and the inner voice.
It means honouring the parts of us that are longing to be seen and felt. Those neglected or abandoned parts that speak to us through physical pain, or compromised mental health.
Experiences, interactions and society often gives us the message that self care is selfish. But the fact is, that if we do not learn to take care of the body-mind-system, and form a healthy relationship to self, we end up suffering. We end up in situations and relationship dynamics which can be unhealthy and detrimental to our wellbeing. We end up over-giving from an already depleted system, leaving us depleted, exhausted or resentful.
Self care means identifying our needs and learning to meet them. These needs can be very simple in nature, yet somehow we neglect them, often putting others or work first. This may include ….getting enough rest, having meaningful connections with others, spending time alone, eating and getting exercise. Our needs can also be more complex and unique, and don’t necessarily conform to societal expectations.
We all have needs, but can often neglect those needs in favour of productivity or pleasing others.
In this 1 day immersion, you will bring the utmost care and compassion to yourself and those neglected parts of you. Reconnecting to your unique needs and exploring the ways in which you may have abandoned your needs. You will start to build a healthy new relationship with your body, learning to listen and feel anything that is calling for your attention. You will connect to your inner wisdom with conscious connected breathwork. This will take place in our beautiful and cosy Fulham venue.
Please bring your notebook, pen, and curiosity. Snacks will be provided. Please bring your lunch, or enjoy eating at one of the local cafe’s. There will be a 75 min lunch break. A small kitchen is available for your use, as well as a comfortable lounge area.
